Everyone we had spoken to said that Edinburgh was their favorite city in the UK and now we know why. Our group of friends would have fit right in! We arrived at our hotel around 4:30 and decided that we should do our own pub crawl to get a good feel for the city. As the night progressed, we noticed more and more groups of people our age dressed in costume. We finally asked a bartender what the special occasion was, and he informed us that this was an every night thing. Edinburgh is the place to go for Stag/Nag Parties and everyone dresses up (our bachelor/bachelorette parties):
Around 1PM Matt noticed a rash breaking out on my neck and face, I didn’t think anything of it, but when I went to the bathroom I noticed it was all over my arms and legs as well. Needless to say, we decided that was a sign to end the night.
Overall, it was a great evening and the rash was gone in the morning!

Edinborough was my dad's favorite city, he was over there during WW2. I'll have to find some of his pictures to show you. Good to see you this past week. Your neighbors on Forest Trail
