I didn’t mention in the last email, but this weekend was a bank holiday here in the UK, so we were able to spend two nights in Edinburgh. So today, we did all the typical site seeing. Our day started with a climb up to Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park where we noticed a marathon below:
Matt and I couldn’t stop laughing as we realized that this city is where Matt J. “Fatty” was meant to be! Every night/day would be dress up day… look, he fits right in J
We then made our way up the Royal Mile to the Edinburgh Castle.
We finished our site seeing at the Scotch Whiskey Heritage Center. Although, I must say, I still have no appreciation for Scotch J Tonight, we found a great pub next to our hotel that had live music and was packed. We picked a good seat and stayed put for most of the night. I’m not sure what time we left, but we made a pit stop at the hotel lounge for a couple more drinks before we went to bed.
