Sunday April 6, 2008

Benny Flay,

We woke up and it was snowing! Here was our apartment this morning:

Our Apartment in Heathrow

We decided to tough the snow and headed to London anyway. First stop Knotting Hill. Unfortunately, there wasn't much to see there so we grabbed a coffee, jumped back on the tube and got off at Hyde Park Corner. We got there just in time to see the horses after the changing of the guard:

We walked through Green Park to Buckingham Palace:

We then headed through St James Park, stopped for lunch at Covent Garden and continued to St Paul's Cathedral passing lots of great buildings on the way such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Kings College:

We then headed to the London Zoo and grabbed dinner at a little Italian restaurant across from Harrods Department Store before heading back for the night. All in all it was a great day, with about 20 miles of walking. Pretty sure we are going to be sore tomorrow! Till then :)
